This two hole titanium pipe strap was originally designed for Bellingham Marine to replace the failing stainless steel system that was holding the fire pipes to the sides of the docks. On the four inch fire pipes, they now use these to attach the pipes just below the water's surface.
They are fabricated in Allied Titanium's Northwest Factory from TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 2 (CP) titanium. Crevice corrosion of stainless steel in and around seawater is rampant and titanium being corrosion free in the natural environment, including seawater, is the solution.
If you are looking for an inexpensive way to fasten pipe securely in the marine environment, you have found it.
