These pan head screws are TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). Grade 5 titanium is a common aerospace alloy that has been used in commercial aircraft for decades.
The Ring around the head is a trademark so you can quickly identify that the screw is manufactured from a high strength titanium alloy, versus unalloyed titanium. With a minimum yield strength of 128,000 psi (880 Mpa), they are designed for both beauty and structural applications in everything from race cars to sailboats.
