These Nylon Insert Hex Nuts are manufactured from Grade 2 (CP) titanium and are TRUE TITANIUM(TM). Inside the top of a hex nut a nylon insert is placed to allow the threads on a bolt or a screw to cut themselves into the nylon, stopping them in place and holding firm so that the screw or bolt does not move, even when exposed to heavy vibrations.
